MillimansâCMH Health Practice isâlooking for a Senior Actuarial Analyst toâjoinâtheir vibrant dynamic and growing practice.âSenior ActuarialâAnalysts (referred to as Senior Professional Staff)âwill have the opportunity to work in a wide variety of areas within the healthcare industry while working alongside some of the leading experts in the field.â

Job Responsibilities
- Perform data analysis using Excel SAS and proprietary Milliman programs toassist with consulting for various healthcare segments (Medicare Advantage and Part D Commercial / ACA Dental Medicaid Long Term Care Pharmacy Provider and more)
- Participate in consulting activities to include pricing reserving financialprojections model development forecasting and mergers and acquisitions
- Responsible for reviewing the work of peers and assisting with research andproduct development
- Coordinate with Consultants Managers Professional Staff and Interns as aproject team to present client reports and deliverables
- Responsible for the majority of the technical work which may include analyzing data completing actuarial calculations developing and utilizing actuarial models and implementing software solutions
Minimum requirements
- Bachelors orâmastersâdegree in actuarial science mathematics economics finance accounting or another major with quantitative course workâ
- ASA designation with the Society of Actuaries (SOA)
- Minimum of 2 years of full-time actuarial experience
- Thoroughâunderstanding of Microsoft Excel and actuarial concepts

Location
It is preferred that this candidate work in-office at the Milwaukee Chicago or Harford office. Remote candidates will be considered.

Compensation
The overall salary range for this role is $88800 $184460. For candidates residing in:
- Alaska California Connecticut Illinois Maryland Massachusetts New Jersey New York City Newark San Jose San Francisco Pennsylvania Virginia Washington or the District of Columbia the salary range is $102120 $184460.
- All other states salary range is $88800 $160400.
A combination of factors will be considered including but not limited to education relevant work experience qualifications skills certifications etc.
