We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting this key role you will be responsible for the preparation of the monthly quarterly and annual financial statements of the Company its subsidiaries and affiliates. The Senior Accountant will be an emerging leader who will support other staff members in their training and development including reviewing their work for necessary corrections or revisions. The Senior Accountant will develop strong working relationships that will support effective communication and accuracy with a focus on customer service and delivery due dates.

Compensation: $per year plus eligibility for annual bonus.

How you will make an impact

  • Prepare and review monthly quarterly and annual financial statements and reporting packages for management investors lenders and other stakeholders.

  • Lead the annual audit process including the preparation and issuance of audited financial statements and supporting documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP debt covenant requirements and financial reporting regulations through technical accounting research disclosure reviews and risk assessments.

  • Perform financial analyses including variance analysis and evaluation of significant transactions to support accurate reporting and informed decision-making.

  • Develop document and enhance financial reporting processes and internal controls to strengthen compliance operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.

What you will need

  • Five (5) or more years of experience with a minimum of two (2) years working in public accounting as an auditor or consultant providing attest and/or financial reporting related services.

  • Experience applying US GAAP-based technical accounting standards.

  • Licensed CPA or a CPA candidate

  • Knowledge of assessing internal controls over financial reporting is a plus.

  • Previous experience with real estate development is preferred.

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or other general ledger system is a plus; experience with Workiva is a plus
