Position Overview:

The company is actively searching for an experienced Senior Accountant to join their expanding team. Reporting to the Assistant Controller the Senior Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis for the company. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the growth and success of a fast-paced company.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes including preparation of journal entries account reconciliations and financial statement review
• Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making
• Assist with the preparation of financial forecasts budgets and variance analysis
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper accounting treatment for new revenue streams customer contracts and business initiatives
• Collaborate with external auditors to support the annual audit process and address any audit inquiries or findings
• Review and streamline accounting processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Stay current with accounting standards and regulations and ensure compliance

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting required
• 3-5 years of corporate accounting experience preferably in a SaaS or technology-focused company
• CPA certification or experience working for a public accounting firm is preferred
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience with financial reporting and analysis
• Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities

Compensation:

• Competitive salary range based on experience ($90000 - $110000)
