Job Summary

Our team provides qualified Accounting and Finance professionals on a temporary and permanent basis across a broad range of industries. We are partnering with a growing organization in Flowery Branch seeking a Senior Accountant to join its accounting team. This onsite opportunity is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys taking ownership of the month-end close process financial reporting and general ledger accounting while working in a collaborative environment.

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records supporting compliance with accounting standards and partnering with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review journal entries account reconciliations and general ledger activity
Lead month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules for management review
Analyze financial results and investigate account variances
Maintain compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
Assist with budgeting forecasting and financial analysis as needed
Support internal and external audit requests by preparing documentation and schedules
Monitor and improve internal controls and accounting procedures
Partner with cross-functional teams to support operational and financial initiatives
Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiencies
Assist with special projects and other accounting responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
4 years of progressive accounting experience
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite SAP Oracle Microsoft Dynamics or similar)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
CPA or CPA-track preferred but not required
Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

$75000 - $85000 a year
