The Client Reporting Services (CRS) team is a critical component of our commercial delivery and success for all managed clients at LAZ Parking. The department is comprised of over 65 highly qualified accountants who specialize in client services and providing monthly financial reporting for over 1600 locations and 1000 clients. All team members pride themselves on completing reports in a timely accurate and complete manner in accordance with GAAP or Cash Basis of accounting consistent with underlying management agreement terms and client expectations.

  • The Spirit of the Position:
  • LAZs continued growth has created an opportunity in the Client Reporting Services department for a talented Senior Accountant to join our professional team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all aspects of monthly accounting and reporting for a portfolio of locations including airports and other highly visible locations.
  • Monthly accounting and reporting for a portfolio of individual managed locations that include airports and other highly visible locations.
  • Perform required month-end close activities for each location including accurate preparation and recording of all journal entries.
  • Reconcile and record activity from daily cash reports credit card activity reports and bank statements.
  • Reconcile all locations Balance Sheets and related asset liability and equity accounts. Prepare analysis and lead sheets when appropriate.
  • Compile and prepare comprehensive monthly financial report packages and submit timely for internal review and approval.
  • Perform a self-review to ensure high-quality reporting
  • Meet monthly financial report submission deadlines to GM and client in line with management agreement and client expectations.
  • Assist in calculating preparing and filing all applicable tax returns including property parking and sales and use taxes.
  • Prepare and process funding and wiring requirements including distributions taxes and invoice requests
  • Assist in the onboarding of any new locations
  • Communicate and interact with regional and facility personnel working in the field

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting and/or Masters in Accounting

Experience:

  • 7 years of experience in General Accounting or Finance with application of GAAP is a plus but not required.
  • Commercial Property Management accounting and client financial reporting experience a plus

Skills:

  • Strong effective and professional communication (verbal written on P&L calls in client meetings)
  • Exhibits professionalism in all ways (to be defined per company policy)
  • Ability to multi-task: Highly commercial efficient handle (with composure) deadlines and changes
  • Experience and proven ability in demonstrating analytical organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment be a self-starter and effectively interface at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent computer skills including high and proven proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel Word Adobe and Outlook)

  • Ability to lift push and pull at least 10 pounds
