The Accounting Senior Professional is responsible for leading complex accounting processes ensuring compliance with applicable standards and providing financial analysis to support business decisions. This role involves reviewing and reconciling accounts preparing financial statements and guiding less-experienced team members on technical accounting matters. The position requires strong analytical capabilities deep knowledge of accounting principles and the ability to handle assignments with high autonomy and judgment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare review and analyze financial statements to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
Lead monthly quarterly and annual closing activities ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Perform complex reconciliations and resolve discrepancies across multiple financial systems.
Develop andmaintaininternal controls processes and documentation to support audits and reporting accuracy.
Providetechnical accounting guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and forecast accuracy.
Identifyprocess improvements and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and control.
Participatein internal and external audits preparing required documentation and addressing findings.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field is.
Minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive accounting experience is preferred.
Experience in public accounting or corporate accounting within the insurance or financial services industry isadvantageous.
Proficiencyin financial systems and advanced Excel skills is.
Familiarity with ERP systems and automated accounting processes is desirable.
CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES / REGISTRATIONS
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or progress toward CPA is preferred.
Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent is an advantage but not mandatory.
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
Financial reporting and complianceexpertise.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting standards.
Advanced reconciliation and variance analysis skills.
Ability to interpret and apply complex accounting guidelines.
Highproficiencyin Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
