Location: This role is primarily on-site in Euless TX offering close partnership with leadership and the broader team. There may be an opportunity for limited hybrid flexibility over time once established in the role although the position will remain primarily office based. Occasional travel generally 1 to 2 trips per month as needed is expected.
Note: Candidates should bring 3 years of accounting experience along with strong attention to detail ownership and initiative and the ability to work effectively across functions. A strong understanding of GAAP financial reporting and advanced Excel skills is important for success in this role.

Job Description
- Support the Controller with day to day accounting operations across a growing multi entity organization
- Manage general ledger activities and help lead accurate timely month end and year end close processes
- Prepare and review journal entries account reconciliations and financial statements
- Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP and internal accounting standards
- Prepare internal and external financial reporting for leadership and business stakeholders
- Support budgeting forecasting and variance analysis
- Strengthen internal controls accounting policies and financial processes
- Assist with annual audits and provide documentation and support for auditor requests
- Partner with operations and other cross functional teams to provide financial insights that support business decisions
- Support and guide accounting activities involving accounts payable accounts receivable payroll and related functions
- Help improve accounting processes and systems as the organization continues to grow
Qualifications
- 3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
- Strong knowledge of GAAP financial reporting and internal controls
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables VLOOKUPs and data analysis
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines
- Demonstrated ownership initiative and independent judgment
- Strong communication and cross functional collaboration skills
- Experience with construction restoration field services or percentage of completion accounting is preferred
- NetSuite experience is preferred
- Multi entity accounting experience is preferred
- CPA progress toward CPA public accounting or leadership experience is a plus
- Willingness to travel occasionally as business needs require
