Seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Self-Funded Employee Benefits Account Executive to join a team. This role is pivotal in managing the full lifecycle of a self-funded book of business serving as the primary point of contact for clients and ensuring exceptional service delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in self-funded employee benefits a proven ability to manage complex accounts and a passion for delivering tailored solutions to meet client needs.

• Salary: Competitive commensurate with experience.
• Bonus/Commission: Percentage of commission on the managed book of business.

• Serve as the primary contact for a book of approximately 10 accounts with an average size of 500 lives (ranging from 100 to 3000 lives).
• Lead the lifecycle management of self-funded accounts including renewals and service delivery.
• Conduct approximately five client meetings per year as part of the standard service model.
• Manage stop-loss pharmacy benefits captives and point solutions for clients.
• Act as the quarterback of the account coordinating with internal teams and external carriers to ensure seamless service.
• Utilize agency management systems including Zywave and proprietary tools to manage client accounts effectively.
• Collaborate with top carriers such as Blue Cross Blue Shield (various regions) United Healthcare Cigna and Highmark.
• Potentially travel for client presentations as needed.

• Licenses/Designations: Active Life & Health (L&H) license and expertise in self-funded benefits.
• Experience: Proven track record in managing self-funded employee benefits accounts including stop-loss and pharmacy benefits.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in agency management systems (e.g. Zywave) and familiarity with industry-leading carriers.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication presentation and organizational skills. Ability to lead and coordinate across teams.
