Syngentas Sales Team is seeking a Seeds Sales Intern. This internship role will participate in a curriculum-based integrated learning opportunity that prepares you to be a leader in territory sales in the agriculture industry. You will work with one of our two premier brands: Golden Harvest or NK Seed.
As part of Syngentas Emerging Talent Program you will gain hands-on experience exposure to day-to-day business operations and opportunities to apply your academic knowledge to real-world challenges while developing your professional skills.
Location: Flexible location within the United States (Colorado Illinois Iowa Kansas Minnesota Wisconsin Oklahoma Nebraska Missouri Indiana Ohio Michigan North Dakota and South Dakota)
Accountabilities:
- Engage in farmer-focused project(s) within your territory aligned with Sales District needs and objectives supported by the District Manager and an assigned mentor.
- Develop a general understanding of seed products and relevant technical knowledge.
- Interact with and support channel customer relationships in a defined geography.
- Identify and analyze customer needs to share with the Sales Management and Marketing organizations.
- Provide market intelligence and territory opportunity information when identified.
- Interact with channel partners such as presenting product information and promotional materials; for GH business identify potential new seed dealers to engage.
- Manage within budget guidance accurately report expenses operate and maintain a company vehicle in compliance with policy track customer interactions and submit weekly activity reports.
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and the student must be pursuing a bachelors or advanced degree in an applicable discipline with a graduation date on or after December 2026.
- A valid drivers license and an acceptable moving violations record.
- Ability to lead be self-directed and work as part of a team.
Desired Qualifications:
- First-hand knowledge of farming is a definite asset.
- Knowledge of agronomics general cropping practices agricultural technology and trends.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills comprising strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead be self-directed and work as part of a team.
Additional Information :
Salary for this position ranges between $20 - $45 hourly.
