Schedule: Swing (Evening/Overnight)

Were hiring a Supervisor Healthcare Security Officer in Waterbury to lead our security team and help maintain a safe professional environment for patients visitors and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise Healthcare Security Officers during evening and overnight shifts
• Oversee access control and ensure all post orders and procedures are followed
• Coordinate daily assignments breaks and coverage to maintain consistent security presence
• Monitor site activity and respond to incidents alarms and emergencies
• Conduct incident investigations and complete clear detailed reports
• Provide coaching guidance and on-the-job training to team members
• Serve as the primary security contact for hospital/healthcare staff during assigned shifts
• Ensure high-quality customer service is delivered to patients visitors and staff
• Support compliance with company and site-specific policies and procedures

• Must have prior security supervisory experience
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct and support a team
• Professional calm and confident demeanor especially in high-stress situations
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong customer service focus and problem-solving ability
• Reliable organized and able to manage multiple priorities
• Able to stand walk and respond quickly throughout the shift

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare or hospital security
• Active state guard card/license (if required by state law)

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Prior security supervisory experience (required)
• At least 18 years of age (or state minimum if higher)
• Ability to pass background checks and any required screenings
• Eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Availability to work a swing schedule covering evening and overnight hours including weekends and holidays as needed
