SECURITY SPECIALIST

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Specialist to join our team. The Security Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our patients staff and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of patients staff and facilities
- Monitor security systems including CCTV cameras alarm systems and access control systems
- Conduct regular security assessments and identify potential risks and vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with management to develop emergency response plans and provide training to staff
- Investigate and report any security incidents or breaches
- Maintain accurate records of security incidents and provide reports as needed
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services as necessary
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and make recommendations for improvements to security policies and procedures
- Conduct background checks and screenings for employees and contractors
- Manage key control and access to restricted areas
- Respond to security-related requests and inquiries from staff and patients in a timely and professional manner
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors degree in criminal justice security management or related field preferred
- Knowledge of security protocols procedures and best practices
- Experience with security systems including CCTV alarm and access control systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Attention to detail and ability to identify potential security risks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
