As a Security Officer - Union Headquartersin New York NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents support access control activities and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with tenants visitors and staff while responding to incidents and supporting a welcoming environment. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants visitors and employees by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents alarms access concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors entrances common areas parking areas and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor tenant and vendor activity in accordance with site requirements; report unusual conditions and security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear accurate reports and daily activity logs for incidents patrol observations and security-related occurrences.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
