As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Security Clearance Observation Duties in San Jose CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents monitor assigned areas and report security-related concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring team-focused culture built on agility reliability innovation and integrity.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel visitors and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures access protocols and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities production areas offices parking areas and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions unauthorized activity and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees visitors contractors and deliveries in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols incidents access-related observations and other security-related events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state county or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
