As a Security Officer Unarmed - Full Time in North Charleston SC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location you will help manage entry points verify credentials monitor access activity and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will support employees visitors and deliveries with professional customer service and clear communication. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors drivers and/or associates by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities as appropriate at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification visitor authorizations delivery appointments and/or contractor credentials in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points maintain visitor and vehicle logs issue access credentials as authorized and report unauthorized access attempts or irregularities.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points loading areas parking areas and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Possess customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
