As a Security Officer Security Clearance Patrol Operations in Rockville MD you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents support access control activities and provide professional customer service. Your communication and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment while reflecting Allied Universals agile reliable innovative people-first team-oriented and integrity-driven values.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel visitors and/or contractors at an aerospace and defense-related location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents alarms access-control concerns and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings offices parking areas loading areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity verify authorization as required by site procedures and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel emergency responders and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related observations incidents and/or operational needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
