Security Officer Patrol

As a Security Officer Patrol in Sylva NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As an unarmed officer at a healthcare technology location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $37.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors and employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology media and telecommunications facilities including business areas parking areas access points and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity unauthorized access attempts and security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs incident reports and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPO is required.
• Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
