Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $30.00 / Hour
Valid Drivers License:
- All candidates must possess a valid drivers license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). This is essential for roles that require driving as part of the job responsibilities.
- Candidates are required to provide a copy of their valid drivers license during the application process.
EMT Certification:
- Candidates must hold a current Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification (C127). This certification is crucial for positions that involve emergency response and medical assistance.
- A copy of the EMT certification must be submitted with the application.
Previous Firefighting Experience:
- Applicants must have documented previous firefighting experience (C129). This experience is necessary for roles that involve firefighting duties and responsibilities.
- Candidates should provide references or documentation verifying their firefighting experience as part of their application.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients employees contractors and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities production areas access points parking areas and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access to the location by checking credentials following visitor and contractor entry procedures and reporting unauthorized access concerns.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel according to site procedures.
- Maintain accurate activity logs incident reports and shift handoff information while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an EMT certification.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess previous firefighting experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
