Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer. The Security Professional Flex Officer will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare Education Finance and more. Pay Rate: $21.63 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Part time: Sunday 2200-0600
Full time Monday-Wednesday 1400-2200 Main hospital Saturday-Sunday 1400-2200 at FSED

How This Role Works:

  • Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
  • Earn More Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. Its all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility income stability and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with de-escalation and reporting details to site leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location including hallways entrances parking areas and perimeter areas noting unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
  • Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry loitering and/or disruptive behavior while maintaining a professional presence in a healthcare setting.
  • Document observations incidents and/or policy-related concerns and communicate with supervisors staff and first responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Hospital vaccination requirements must be met.
  • Must be willing to work in a hospital environment that may include the morgue.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be willing and able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
  • Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare/medical-related field.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
