As a Security Officer Lobby Reception in Kearney NE you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a dynamic technology media and telecommunications location you will welcome visitors manage access control and badge processes monitor alarm activity and provide outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors employees contractors and/or vendors at a front desk location within a technology media and telecommunications environment while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying visitor credentials issuing visitor badges maintaining visitor logs and directing guests according to site requirements.
• Answer incoming calls manage reception-area communications and provide professional assistance with routine inquiries and requests.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate records of visitor activity access-related events and other security-related observations and report unusual conditions to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
