Security Officer Hospital Patrol

As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol in Cape Coral FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support patients visitors and staff with exceptional service and communication. You may respond to sensitive situations including restricted areas and behavioral incidents while collaborating with the healthcare team. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring onboarding and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors staff and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents medical emergencies disturbances and other critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility interiors parking areas entrances and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures providing directions and assistance as needed.
• Document incidents observations and daily activities accurately and promptly and communicate relevant information to site leadership and appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be willing to receive hospital-required vaccines.
• Be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Have at least two years of service in a healthcare/medical-related field.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
