Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors staff and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities at a healthcare facility.
• Respond to incidents disturbances medical emergencies and other critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas including entrances parking areas patient care corridors and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures assisting with directions and access-related inquiries as needed.
• Document incidents observations and patrol activity accurately and promptly escalating concerns to site leadership in accordance with established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• A state county or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
