Security Officer Gate Position Second Shift

As a Security Officer in Janesville WI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As an Access Control Officer in a retail location you will manage entry points verify badges and credentials monitor access activity and provide courteous support to employees and visitors. You will help maintain a secure environment through visible presence clear communication and professional customer service. Comfortable use of computers or tablets is preferred. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to store associates vendors delivery personnel and visitors while carrying out site-specific access control procedures policies and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access points verify authorization for entry and maintain visitor contractor and delivery logs in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access-related incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances receiving areas parking areas and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with store leadership and Allied Universal management regarding access activity incidents and site-specific concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
