As a Security Officer Full Time X Ray Scanner in Louisville KY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location you will help support a secure environment by screening personnel packages and materials monitoring access points and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service while supporting efficient operations and clear communication. Pay Rate: $17.33 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors and/or drivers while carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen packages shipments personnel and/or vehicles in accordance with site procedures and applicable screening protocols.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry to support controlled movement throughout the distribution location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility loading areas parking areas and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
