As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Shipyard Patrolin San Diego CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location. You will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents monitor assigned areas and deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel visitors and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures policies and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities access points parking areas and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity hazards and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas verify credentials in accordance with site procedures and document visitor contractor and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following established post orders and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate daily activity reports incident reports and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A state county or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
