As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Services in Jessup PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support access control activities. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while providing outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Security Experience (C115):
  Candidates must have a minimum of one year of experience in a security-related role. This experience should demonstrate the ability to manage security protocols and respond effectively to security incidents.

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201):
  Candidates should possess experience with access control systems and badge management. Familiarity with electronic access systems and the ability to manage visitor access is essential.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204):
  Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets for daily tasks. This includes the ability to navigate software applications manage emails and utilize digital communication tools effectively.

• Customer Service Experience (B219):
  Candidates should have a background in customer service showcasing strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents delivery-related concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility loading docks trailer yards parking areas access points and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to designated areas observe inbound and outbound traffic and report unusual conditions hazards or policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
• Prepare clear accurate activity and incident reports while maintaining professional communication with employees visitors and drivers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
