As a Security Officer Full Time Security Examiner in West Palm Beach FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As a Screener supporting a government location you will operate screening equipment inspect individuals and property monitor access points and report suspicious activity. You will help maintain a secure environment through professional communication visible presence and outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $19.85 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Screen visitors employees contractors and/or deliveries entering a government law-enforcement facility in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Operate screening equipment and conduct access-control checks to identify prohibited items and help maintain an orderly entry process.
• Verify identification credentials appointments and/or visitor authorizations; provide directions and customer service to the public.
• Respond to screening alarms incidents and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner notifying appropriate personnel as directed.
• Complete required activity logs incident reports and other documentation while following applicable policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement military and/or 7 years of security-related experience or a college degreein criminal justice
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A state county or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
