As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Zone Stewardship in New York NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic university location you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and assist students faculty staff and visitors with professionalism and care. You will communicate clearly report observations and contribute to a welcoming campus environment while reflecting Allied Universals values of agility reliability innovation teamwork and integrity.

Pay Rate: $19.00 - $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to students faculty staff visitors and guests by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following campus protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of academic buildings residence areas common spaces parking locations and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe campus activity reporting suspicious conditions policy violations hazards and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports and maintain professional communication with campus personnel visitors and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
