As a Security Officer Full Time Office Building in Wilmington DE you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a chemical/petrochemical location you will serve as a welcoming professional presence while supporting access control visitor management and clear communication of site procedures. You will help maintain a secure environment through attentive monitoring exceptional customer service and timely reporting of security-related concerns. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors employees and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures access-control policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and manage front-desk access by verifying credentials maintaining visitor records issuing badges and directing authorized individuals in accordance with site requirements.
• Receive screen and route incoming calls deliveries and inquiries while maintaining a professional and courteous presence at the front desk.
• Monitor access-control systems alarms and communication equipment and report unusual activity access concerns or facility issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following established emergency and chemical facility response protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
