As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Inspection in West Palm Beach FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As a Screener in a government setting you will help maintain a welcoming orderly environment by screening visitors monitoring access points and responding to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service communicate clearly with the public and team members and support a visible presence that helps deter incidents. Pay Rate: $19.85 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors employees and law enforcement personnel by carrying out site-specific screening procedures policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals and their belongings using assigned screening equipment and established procedures; identify prohibited items and report concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Control access to designated government facility entry points by verifying credentials directing visitors and maintaining required screening records.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; communicate observations promptly to supervisors and appropriate authorities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry areas and nearby perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 years of combined law enforcement military or 7 years security-related experience or a college degree in criminal justice.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Possess a guard card or license required.
• Possess a state county or city-issued security-related license preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
