As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrol Compliance in Miami FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $22.53 / Hour

Job Schedule:

This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring onboarding and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors employees and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures access-control requirements and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Respond to incidents alarms disturbances and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner notifying appropriate personnel and public agencies as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings parking areas grounds and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity hazards and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify authorized entry in accordance with site-specific policies and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Maintain a professional presence while supporting a respectful orderly environment for staff and the public.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs pepper spray and baton is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
