As a Security Officer Full Time Digital Reporting in White Plains NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As a Security Officer supporting a government transportation location you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide professional customer service communicate clearly with visitors and personnel and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $29.46 - $30.46 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors passengers employees and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents service requests and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned transportation facilities platforms access points parking areas and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access to restricted areas observe activity for unusual conditions and report security-related concerns hazards or maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with maintaining orderly operations at assigned locations by providing directions supporting access-control procedures and documenting incidents and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2 years of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state county or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
