As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Screening in Virginia Beach VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an Armed Screener in a healthcare location you will help create a welcoming secure environment by screening individuals monitoring access points responding to security-related concerns and communicating professionally with patients visitors and staff. Pay Rate: $22.10 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out screening procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals entering the healthcare location in accordance with established visitor management screening and access-control procedures.
• Verify visitor credentials provide directions and communicate applicable entry requirements in a professional and courteous manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner promptly reporting concerns to appropriate site personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances waiting areas and surrounding perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
