As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control Specialist in Edison NJ you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location you will help manage entry points verify credentials monitor access activity and support a welcoming environment for employees visitors and deliveries. You will provide exceptional customer service communicate clearly and help deter security-related incidents through a visible professional presence. Pay Rate: $19.12 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors drivers and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access points vehicle gates and entry areas; verify identification credentials and authorization before permitting access in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor contractor and vehicle-entry records and communicate access concerns or irregularities to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents access-control alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following established response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points loading areas parking locations and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
