Security Officer Full Time Access Control Driving Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control Driving Positionin Kansas City MO you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an Access Control Officer at a government location you will help maintain a welcoming secure environment by monitoring entry points verifying access credentials responding to security-related concerns and providing exceptional customer service. You will use communication and technology skills to support daily operations and help deter incidents. Pay Rate: $21.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures access-control policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government-related location.
• Monitor access points verify identification and authorization issue visitor credentials and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas including the business and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with employees visitors contractors and public agency personnel while supporting orderly access to the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
