As a Security Officer Full Time 2nd Shiftin Covington OH you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Shelter and more. As an Access Control Officer at a shelter location you will help maintain a welcoming secure environment by monitoring access points verifying authorized entry documenting activity and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while helping to deter incidents through a visible professional presence. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents visitors staff and service providers while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures access-control policies and emergency response activities at the shelter location.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying identification maintaining visitor logs issuing and collecting credentials and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents resident concerns and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas entrances common spaces and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities access-control events incidents and observations accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
