As a Security Officer Flex Part Time Unarmed Building Patrolin Santa Ana CA this role is designed to provide reliable consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $23.25 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. Its all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility income stability and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors staff contractors and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities in a cultural institution setting.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout galleries collection areas public spaces exterior grounds and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity report unusual conditions or policy violations and assist with directing guests in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following site-specific protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports patrol logs and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
