As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Facility Monitoring in Mechanicsville VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government transportation location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will contribute to a welcoming environment while reporting observations and supporting site procedures. Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors contractors and members of the public at a government transportation location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures access-control requirements and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents roadway-related concerns and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner promptly communicating observations to designated site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices parking areas vehicle access points grounds and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site policies and maintain accurate activity incident and patrol documentation.
• Observe and report hazards suspicious activity damaged property and unusual conditions that could affect facility operations employees visitors and transportation infrastructure.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
