As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Building Patrol Driverin Newport Beach CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail and mall location you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants visitors and retail patrons by carrying out site-specific procedures access-control practices and security-related response activities.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established site policies and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas parking areas building entrances and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity hazards maintenance concerns and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Prepare clear accurate activity and incident reports and maintain professional communication with clients tenants visitors and responding public service personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Preferred comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Preferred alarm panel experience.
• Preferred access control and badge experience.
• Preferred ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
