What Your Day Looks Like:Safety and Security strives toreduce the risk of hazardous exposure to employees patients residents clients visitors and others in the delivery or receipt of healthcare services; to promote and establish the OSHA Voluntary Protection Program management principles; to develop and provide safety management training for the environment of care; to coordinate services for our injured employees healthcare needs and facilitate their return to work.

As a Security Officeryou will be:

• Patrollinginside and outside buildings to ensure that no one is loitering.

• Conducting documenting and evaluating life safety drills as requested and scheduled by the Director of Security Security Supervisor and Risk Management Coordinator.

• Maintainingan Activity Log Daily Reports Security Incident Reports Lost and Found Reports and other documentation asrequired.

• Checking doors at allfacilities

• Reporting alarms to maintenance personnel present oron-call

Qualifications:

Education:High school graduate or equivalent required unless extensive successful experience is demonstrated

Experience:Minimum age of 21 yearsrequired;3 5 years of experienceoflaw enforcement or security preferred.

Skills: N/A

Licensure/Certification:Current Missouri Drivers licenserequired

Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
