Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Security Officer at a residential community where you will monitor entry points verify visitors and credentials and help maintain a welcoming controlled environment for residents and guests. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents guests vendors and/or visitors while carrying out access-control procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify authorized access and maintain visitor contractor and/or delivery records in accordance with residential community procedures.
• Respond to incidents resident concerns access issues and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community grounds common areas parking areas and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity hazards and/or policy violations.
• Communicate observations incidents and access-related concerns to appropriate personnel and complete required reports and documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
