The Security Officer ArmedRecruitrole is a roledesignatedfor newly hired Security Officers while preparing for successful transition to an Armed Officer role.During the transition period of120 daysall training andcertifications will be completed to allow them to progress to an Armed Security Officer role.The primary function of this transitional role is to further develop the necessary skills training and certificationsto carry a weapon and function as a fully Armed Security Officer.

An offer of employment for a Security Officer Armed Recruit is contingent on passing the pre-employment screening process which includes a fitness assessment and psychological evaluation. Once the preemployment process is cleared and employment has begun incumbents will have 120 days to successfully complete and obtain other job specific certifications as defined in the job profile. Failure to obtain these certifications within the prescribed timeframe will result in termination of employment. Annual fitness assessment is required and psychological evaluations are required every 3 years as a condition of continued employment in this position.

• High School Diploma or equivalent(Required)

• Current Valid Drivers license (Required)

• 1 year of securitymilitaryor policeexperience (Preferred)
