As a Security Officer Armed Portal Screeningin Boynton Beach FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location you will manage access control monitor entry points conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment for residents guests and staff. Pay Rate: $27.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents visitors vendors and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points to a residential property verify authorization for entry and document visitor vendor and/or contractor activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents access concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner notifying appropriate personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry areas common spaces parking locations and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs incident reports and access-control records while communicating professionally with property management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement corrections military and/or criminal justice degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Hold CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
