As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol Detail in Oregon OH you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a transportation location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents and deliver strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout facilities rail-adjacent property parking areas access points and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas verify credentials and/or permissions and report security-related concerns hazards or suspicious behavior to the appropriate contacts.
• Prepare clear timely reports of incidents patrol activity and/or observed conditions and support communication with site personnel first responders and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 2 or more years of law enforcement military police and/or corrections experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
