As a Security Officer Access Point Driver in Saratoga Springs NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an Access Control Security Officer at a healthcare location you will help manage entry points verify credentials monitor access activity and provide professional customer service to employees visitors and vendors. You will maintain a visible presence communicate clearly and report security-related concerns while supporting a welcoming environment. This driving position requires a valid drivers license. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel visitors contractors and vendors at a healthcare and pharmaceutical location by carrying out site-specific access control procedures policies and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify identification credentials and authorization before permitting entry to restricted areas helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Maintain accurate visitor contractor and delivery records; issue and collect access credentials in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points building entrances and the surrounding perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or access control concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
