As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Inspection in New York NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government services location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and assist visitors with professionalism and clear communication. You will report observations follow site procedures and contribute to a welcoming environment through teamwork integrity and Allied Universals caring reliable approach.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents visitors staff and agency partners by carrying out site-specific procedures access-control protocols and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents resident concerns disturbances and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner; document observations and report matters through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas including building entrances common areas grounds and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions requiring attention.
• Monitor access points verify authorized entry direct visitors to appropriate locations and maintain awareness of activity throughout the assigned government services location.
• Support a respectful professional environment by communicating clearly with diverse populations and following applicable policies procedures and post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
