Security Dispatcher

Job Overview
Performs dispatching monitoring of building security systems and office administrative duties in support of hospital security operations; receives various security-related hospital campus information by telephone radio and/or other sources; contacts and dispatches security personnel to hospital campus areas; contacts emergency responder/police agencies when needed; answers and directs calls for security and emergency maintenance and internal lateral service as appropriate; provides information to patient staff visitors and outside agencies regarding security and safety; performs a variety of office administrative duties; and performs related work as assigned.

What You Will Need

Desire individuals who have the ability to multitask type at least 35 wpm experience interacting with the public and are able to provide accurate information and directives to ensure safety for our visitors patients and employees. Must be able to speak clearly and concisely react calmly and effectively transfer information accurately and work independently in emergency situations. Prior security or dispatch experience desired yet not required.
