Job Summary
PGS Worldwide is seeking a Secret-Cleared Circuit Design Engineer in Littleton CO for a one-year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company.
The Circuit Design Engineer will develop advanced avionics hardware within an integrated product-development environment. This role includes digital circuit design schematic capture PCB layout guidance electrical analysis hardware troubleshooting requirements verification and product-certification support for aerospace and missile systems.
Required Skills
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline with 610 years of relevant experience or masters degree with 48 years of relevant experience.
U.S. citizenship required.
Active DoD Secret security clearance required.
Digital circuit design experience at the circuit-card or board level.
Experience developing and capturing electrical schematics.
Experience guiding printed circuit board layouts.
Experience supporting technical design evaluations and requirements verification.
Experience supporting multiple phases of the aerospace hardware-development lifecycle.
Electrical hardware failure-analysis and troubleshooting experience.
Systems analysis and design skills.
Experience resolving test anomalies.
Missile or advanced aerospace hardware design experience.
Ability to support system-level integration and testing.
Strong written verbal and presentation skills.
Ability to communicate complex technical issues to engineering teams management customers and subcontractors.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced cross-functional development environment.
Preferred Skills
Xpedition or comparable schematic-capture experience.
PSPICE Saber or comparable circuit-simulation experience.
Electrical Worst-Case Analysis experience.
Electrical Parts Stress Analysis experience.
Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis experience.
Circuit failure-mode analysis experience.
Experience investigating failures at the circuit-card unit and system levels.
Experience across design test operations and systems-engineering disciplines.
Strong problem-solving conflict-resolution and consensus-building skills.
What Youll Do
Design and capture digital electrical schematics.
Guide PCB layout and hardware implementation activities.
Perform electrical worst-case and parts-stress analyses.
Evaluate hardware designs against technical requirements.
Support avionics hardware development and integration.
Troubleshoot circuit cards electronic units and system-level issues.
Resolve test anomalies and perform failure investigations.
Generate review and present product-certification documentation.
Support requirements verification and system-level testing.
Collaborate with electrical systems test manufacturing and program teams.
Present technical findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
Pay
$68.51 per hour
