Seasonal Trainer

POSITION SUMMARY

The Seasonal Trainer partners with Operations and the Training Department to deliver new-hire cross-training and refresher programs for associates during Peak Season. This role provides clear instruction monitors trainee performance offers timely coaching and feedback and maintains accurate training records.

The Seasonal Trainer is responsible for staying current on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) safety requirements and operational expectations. This position may also assist with processing activities in other areas as business needs require.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support fulfillment center training initiatives associate onboarding and employee engagement activities.
• Deliver hands-on training that builds the knowledge skills and confidence associates need to perform safely accurately and efficiently.
• Clearly explain job responsibilities process steps safety requirements quality standards and performance expectations.
• Observe associates as they perform job functions independently and provide real-time coaching guidance and feedback.
• Conduct and document daily observations for associates participating in training.
• Communicate performance progress and concerns to the appropriate supervisor or Operations leader.
• Answer process-related questions and provide support on the warehouse floor while maintaining the quality consistency and integrity of training.
• Remain proficient in applicable SOPs training materials safety requirements and process updates.
• Complete cross-training in other departments as assigned.
• Maintain complete training observation progress and completion records.
• Submit certification requests when an associate is ready for evaluation.
• Maintain professionalism confidentiality and objectivity in all performance documentation and communications.
• Follow all company policies safety procedures and operational standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior fulfillment center warehouse training coaching or team-lead experience preferred.
• Strong verbal communication and facilitation skills with the ability to explain processes to individuals with varying levels of experience.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to follow and reinforce SOPs safety requirements and quality standards.
• Comfortable documenting observations and training progress accurately and objectively.
• Adaptable collaborative and able to work a flexible seasonal schedule including overtime and weekend shifts as business needs require.

PHYSICAL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

This role works in a fast-paced fulfillment center environment and may require extended periods of standing walking bending reaching and moving or lifting items in accordance with workplace safety requirements.
