Seasonal Maintenance Worker

The Village of Pingree Grove is accepting applications for a part-time Seasonal Maintenance Worker. This position is intended for a 40-hour week during the summer season through September with the ability to work up to a maximum of 950 hours per calendar year. This part-time position is eligible for one (1) hour of paid leave for every 40 hours worked in a calendar year. Depending on operational needs there may be opportunities for overtime. The pay range for this position is $15.00 to $18.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. Duties involve manual labor activities related to the spray irrigation system water and wastewater treatment plants water distribution system wastewater collection system as well as parks streets buildings and grounds maintenance and other duties as assigned.

Application requirements and minimum qualifications
Must be a US citizen or authorized to work in the US 18 years of age or older high school diploma or GED equivalent valid Illinois drivers license ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds able to operate power equipment. All applicants must pass a background check and drug test.
