Job Summary
Cobblestone Creek Country Club located in Victor NY is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for aâFull-Time Seasonal Grounds Crew! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn contribute and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part ofâTroon you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
- Must possess the ability to design coordinate and maintain landscaping on the golf course.
- Experience with operating greens and fairway mowers preferred.
- Must possess the ability to create spray programs for the golf course including greens tees fairways roughs and landscaping.
- Must possess the ability to operate all tools and equipment related to golf course operations.
- Ability to give oral and written instructions.
- Skilled in seeding fertilizing mulching and general ground preparation for restoration and renovation.
- Must be dependable.
- Perform duties that help maintain the Golf Course and Grounds: string trimming mower operation raking bunkers
- Operate golf course equipment in a safe manner
- Participate in projects
- Assist in maintaining landscaping throughout the course and grounds
- Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility.
- Mows greens aprons fairways roughs tees and other areas.
- Waters tees greens and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional water.
- Repairs the irrigation system pipes and irrigation heads as needed.
- Grades and prepares soil base lays sod and seeds greens tees and fairways.
- Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds.
- Applies pesticides herbicides and fertilizers to the golf course.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Work Schedule:
Monday thru Friday plus weekends
- Employees age 19 are eligible for the 401(k) plan.
